[edit]Shouldn't the page be renamed to Leon Modena? R. Yehuda Aryeh mi-modena himself wrote that his surname was Modena, not "da Modena," as he was from Venice. In fact, in Italian he signed his name Leone Modena da Venice, despite the fact that in Hebrew he was known as "mi-Modena." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.249.118.153 (talk) 15:31, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
Magen wa-Zinnah
[edit]I think it was against a book by Uriel da Costa, but it definitely wasn't an answer to himself (like it says now), also, how could it be defending kabbala, if he wrote a book attacking kabbala (ari nohem)?

Geiger, Breslau, 1856."
