Evaluation of Article
[edit]The article, which discusses the regeneration of the lens in organisms, specifically newts and rabbits, has several areas for improvement but has good bones. The general sections outlined are good and the basic facts are correct and presented in a very understandable way. The overall format of the article might be better read if flipped, meaning that the actual process of regeneration is explained first or after the history behind the process. That way, readers have a better understand of the actual process before the implications and scientific studies involving it are discussed. The "Mechanisms" section of the article should probably go into more detail, if possible, as if does not fully describe the process of regeneration. This could be done by focusing on one of the species mentioned earlier in the article and explaining how regeneration works in that organism. Also, the article mentions experimental trials and In Vitro techniques as two separate categories, but the two could be easily grouped together. Finally, there is only 1 image in the article that really only relates to the experimental trials section.
