I have ordered the Lemnacean genuses in the order from most to least complex, which also follows the most recent phylogenetic trees.- Zeamays.

Does this belong?

"duck weed is an invasive species found mostly in the sub-artic regions of the world. Many polar bears and penguins love to eat it."

I don't know if that belongs or not. It's under taxonomy, which seems wrong to me. Pgrote 07:36, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

Only positive

This article is only mentioning duckweed in a positive way. But in reality, it is an invasive species and can destroy lakes by covering the surface entirely, killing all underwater plants and fish. As food

(Almot 5 years later) It is ridiculous that information about exactly how duckweed is prepared and consumed by humans hasn't been added, and your question hasn't been answered or even addressed. That's not very encyclopedic or professional! ~2025-31208-44 (talk) 01:28, 28 January 2026 (UTC)

Aren't they their own family now?
