That's traditionally true of British parliamentary systems, but it's not the case on PEI, for some arcane reason that I can't recall. CaptainCanada 23:10, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Government Majority

Dual Member Ridings
[edit]I can't find an explanation in Wikipedia for the system of dual member ridings, either federally or provincially. There is some information here about it in PEI, but this must have been different in other elections - Federally, for example the upper house was not elected, so the dual members can't have been one each for the upper and lower houses. Colouring of seats
