The other Lee Sims

[edit]

Harry Louis Simon (1915 - 1995), the father of Paul Simon, performed as Lee Sims or Simms and had a few records released in the 1960s. He is said to have arranged instrumental acompaniment for numerous records made in New York, including "Hey Schoolgirl" and a few other very early and now obscure Paul Simon records. Obit at New York Times, January 19, 1995. That's all I have time to check, so I invite someone else to do the disambiguation. This page is not about him anyway, but I think he needs to be mentioned, for clarity about the "original" Lee Sims.JoeBrennan (talk) 03:01, 2 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
