In the meanwhile: it’s a good policy to have a survey of dates from sources in articles about time periods; for smaller mentions (ex. at the start of “Atenism under Akhenaten” here: “Amenhotep IV, the son of Amenhotep III, was crowned king c. 1353 BC.”) circa is your best friend

Kerheb is a duplicate of this article, and the two should definitely be merged. I believe that the merged article belongs under this title, as "lector priest" is definitely the term most used in English-language sources. Most or all sources that mention lector priests, such as the article on "priesthood" in the Oxford Encyclopedia of Ancient Egypt, give the Egyptian term once (usually in the form given in this article, ẖry-ḥb.t, rather than a transcription like "kerheb") and then use "lector priest" throughout the rest of the text.
In any case, there is no reason for both these stub articles to exist, aside from the confusion created by the differing transcription and transliteration systems for Egyptian words and by the inadequate organization of WP's ancient Egypt articles. A. Parrot (talk) 04:54, 25 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
