Image relocation
[edit]Hi - no real issue with the moving of image to the right. However, I feel that the article has now lost some cohesion by the appearance of consequent large white space and the image in question being in a section away from its relevant text. - Ballista 05:19, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Regarding the section entitled "The River Thames"
[edit]This sentence seems very weak and non-specific to the subject matter:
"It is possible to travel by river or on foot from here to London."
It is possible to travel from anywhere in the mainland UK to London on foot. Maybe this could be suitably revised?

Introductory sentence
[edit]Lechlade isn't "at at the southern edge of the Cotswolds".
It's east of the Cotswolds. The escarpment goes down to Bath.
The Cotswolds are essentially hills. Lechlade is low-lying land around the Thames Valley. The Cotswold Water Park is nearby - no doubt called that because it sounds nice. Not really the Cotswolds, maybe just in, but definitely not south of the Cotswolds. Here's a map of the Cotswolds - Lechlade is to the east of this.

- It is technically south-ish of the main part of the Cotswolds, if you go due north from the town you end up in the Cotswolds. Best not to mention the direction. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 19:02, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
