Death possibly AIDS-related?

I just came across an newspaper article from the September 26, 1988 issue of the Thousand Oaks Star entitled, "Walkers hoof it for AIDS Project". It mentions "Participants included AIDS sufferers, those who lost friends and relatives to the deadly disease and others who felt a sense of moral responsibility." The article also quotes actor Michael Gross, who was a participant in the march. The photo accompanying the article shows two people holding signs, both of which read "In Loving Memory of Le Tari". However, the article doesn't actually mention him by name.

Given the context of the story (date, location, participation of a Hollywood actor), I believe there's a strong possibility that Le Tari's death was AIDS-related. Moreover, I don't know how reliable an e-zine website like grunge.com is, so I think that also brings the alleged cause of death into question.

I plan on trying to find out if his death was actually AIDS-related, and if I find a reliable source, I'll make the appropriate edit to the Wiki.
