So I started working on this article out of an interest and affection for Lavinia, and soon realized how Aeneid-focused most of the details are. But due to the nature of the Aeneid as a highly political work, I think we should balance it out with further elaborations on other accounts, and perhaps amending the wording to reflect those (the first section makes statements that are only backed by the Aeneid-- we should change that). I've started on the major references, especially as they relate to Ascanius/Silvius and the contentious Latin line, but I haven't done much yet. I think that Livy's account will work better as a block quote, as he is one of the only ones to describe Lavinia's personality in any depth (I believe, please correct me if I'm wrong).
