A fact from Laura Kampf appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 13 December2025(check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that YouTuber Laura Kampf got millions of views on a video in which she built a project that did not work?
Having it as the sole statement in a Personal life section was definitely rather odd but I think it is OK now that you have expanded it with a bit of additional info about other aspects of her personal life. DanielRigal (talk) 15:31, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ugh. I see that it got put back but the extra content was not in the source so that's fair enough. The extra content would be fine if there was a source for it though. Is there one? The only detail to be had from the current source is that her partner is an anesthesiologist. DanielRigal (talk) 17:06, 12 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

... that YouTuber Laura Kampf got millions of views on a video in which she built a project that did not work?
Source: (my translations) Millions of people ... clicked on the video in which Laura builds a "Beer Bike" ... For example, the Beer Bike, made from a bicycle and a beer keg, "didn't really work in the end."
5x expanded by Vigilantcosmicpenguin(talk).
Number of QPQs required: 2. DYK is currently in unreviewed backlog mode and nominator has 56 past nominations.
@Vigilantcosmicpenguin:, I was going to review this, but you haven't provided a second QPQ, which is required due to the backlog. I'll give you 48 hours but if you don't, I may close this. The first QPQ is done, just need to wait for a 2nd. JuniperChill (talk) 10:25, 10 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Article is new enough (expansion started on the 5th, nominated 3 days later), long enough (1463 to 11000, a 7,5x expansion), well sourced. Hook is interesting, cited to a reliable source and is present in the article. Two QPQs done as required. For anyone who wants to read the sourced article, its at the third paragraph.
