2. the clothes that they wash
3. the room where it is done

For exemple French links :

• for the room fr:buerie
• for the clothes : fr:Linge de maison

Walloon link wa:bouwêye applies to the operation of laundery.

Maybe is it better to have 3 differents articles.

Hello,

I would like to see an explanation for: "What is a French Laundry?"

How does it differ from a standard American laundry? and, Are there any similarities between a French laundry and a Chinese laundry?

Lead section.

This article needed an introduction and I've added a draft introduction to the article. I think the definition added by 68.225.52.173 was better than nothing, but I did't want to revert Jake Wartenberg's edit, so I've tried to improve it by rewording it to exclude the speech marks. Background to "Right to Dry" section?

Section on the "Right to Dry" seems a legitimate and interesting topic, but the section seems to take off in media res. It needs background on the legislation which outlawed line drying in the first place. babbage (talk) 04:47, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

"Drip Dry" fabrics

I have searched Wikipedia, but I cannot find any information on "Drip Dry" fabrics, what the process is that makes a fabric "drip dry", and how the fabric differs from any other clothing material. Washing temperatures

The section "laundry processes" should include more detailed information about common washing temperatures. Right now it reads like this is mostly a chemical process.

"The washing will often be done at a temperature above room temperature" - um, yes. Unless you consider 30°C to be room temperature, practically NO washing is done at room temperature with European machines at least. Why is there the hyperlink "tvättstuga"?

The word "tvättstuga" looks out of place in the part of the beginning after the article mentions residence halls. When you click "tvättstuga" it takes you to the "Laundry Room" page. doing ctrl/command-f and pasting "tvättstuga" does not show results. Why not just rename the hyperlink to "Laundry Room"...? Sounds like I'm at IKEA. Yes I created a wikipedia account to say this. Excuse me if I sound naive about the potential official name of a laundry room potentially unknown to me.
