Dubious Information

Caps and goal figures in the article likely contain European cup/Domestic cup data in addition to Domestic League data (this is very certain based on this user's previous edits containing similar information . Well, according to the German WP, he played 278 domestic league games and scored 45 times, so I suppose the data could be right, and just a bit more up to date. Especially since Ricken played for 13 years for the same team, and if the numbers included international appearances, the difference would likely be more than just 10 matches. Non-neutral article

This article reads as if it came from Ricken's fan site. It has good information, but there are very subjective lines, e.g:

• "After a series of exciting performances, he was the local hero in Dortmund and the teen idol throughout Germany."

• "...his star was waning."

• "He was obviously annoyed..."

• "Unfortunately, he suffered a cruciate ligament injury..."

Retirement

Has Ricken actually retired yet? If not, then why is he seemingly still recorded in the article as a first-team squad member? If he is still playing and simply announced last November that, far from doing so with immediate effect, he simply intended to retire at the end of the current season, then the table listing 2007 as his last year at Dortmund, will need to be ammended.
