Sad Puppies / Genre Criticism

[edit]

This page seems awfully bald of discussion of the role played by Correia in driving a conservative critique of the state of awards and recognition in the SciF-Fantasy genre. As the Sad Puppy voting bloc around the Hugo Awards is deemed sufficiently notable for its own page at Wikipedia, I'd argue that the author's views, position, and influence within this movement are likewise notable. I do not have the time or knowhow to vet reliable sources, nor the knowhow to source items on his page, but I do know this all got discussed in the industry press and beyond. 2600:2B00:9214:4800:21AC:1A2A:4EE7:5ACC (talk) 14:15, 9 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

I think so, too. Pursuant to Wikipedia:Be bold, I'm going to add a section now. Keshiik (talk) 00:44, 7 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
Okay -- done. It could use some more info about his role in the campaigns beyond founding it. However, I'm having some trouble finding non-primary, non-self published sources. If anyone has ideas, I'm all ears. ^__^ Keshiik (talk) 01:45, 7 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
I copy and pasted the text from the Sad Puppies Wikipedia page, but it was reverted for being "too biased." What do others think? Should there be info about his role in Sad Puppies on this page? Keshiik (talk) 23:15, 22 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Monster Hunter

[edit]

Are his Monster Hunter novels in any way related to the Capcom franchise of the same name? If not, this should probably be clarified. LonelyBoy2012 (talk) 02:15, 3 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
