State Park article

[edit]

Lake Talquin and Lake Talquin State Park should be seperate articles: the State Park does not include the entirety of the lake, among other things. - User:Aerobird

Ask yourself this: Could Lake Talquin State Park ever be a featured article, without repeating any of the information in Lake Talquin? If so, go ahead and start writing it. —Keenan Pepper 16:49, 12 February 2006 (UTC)Reply
It's a possibility... - Aerobird 16:51, 12 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Merger proposal

[edit]

I am proposing to merge River Bluff Picnic Site State Park with this article. The picnic site does not appear to be an individual state park, but rather a part of Lake Talquin State Park, which is currently covered in this article. Fredlyfish4 (talk) 20:03, 22 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Operation Real Florida

[edit]

As a part of WP:FLA's effort to improve all Florida State Park pages, I am helping to bring this page to class B or higher.

As a part of this effort, I intend on renaming this page or creating a new page dedicated specifically to the Lake Talquin State Park. If there are no objections, this new page will be up within the month

If you want to join the effort, simply edit the page or any other Florida State Park page! 🌴Operator 16 (talk) 11:39, 20 August 2026 (UTC)Reply

I actually went a different route and resurrected the former Lake Talquin State Park page. That will be the state park page going forward and this will stay as the regular Lake Talquin page. 🌴Operator 16 (talk) 14:33, 22 August 2026 (UTC)Reply
