235-360 CE The area where Lahore was located belonged to the Sassanid Empire during this time prior to Gupta rule. Thus someone please add the relevant icon and name in the history of Lahore timeline box which I originally created. Ultraprime12345 (talk) 20:52, 21 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
In the east around 350, Shapur II gained the upper hand against the Kushano-Sasanian Kingdom, who captured some territories against the Sasanians, and took control of large territories in areas now known as Afghanistan and Pakistan, possibly as a consequence of the destruction of the Kushano-Sasanians by the Chionites. The Kushano-Sasanian still ruled in the north. Important finds of Sasanian coinage beyond the Indus river in the city of Taxila only start with the reigns of Shapur II (r.309-379) and Shapur III (r.383-388), suggesting that the expansion of Sasanian control beyond the Indus was the result of the wars of Shapur II "with the Chionites and Kushans" in 350-358 as described by Ammianus Marcellinus.

In the economy section, please update an image with "File:Lahore Skyline.png". The image showcases high rises in the background showcasing the skyline of Lahore which other cities have in their Wikipedia articles. I believe this is a substantial edit that improves the economy section by showcasing recent developments and current high rise trend. Afnan Ghani (talk) 03:35, 22 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
Not done: In my opinion, this is not a particularly good photo of the skyline, as the foreground is dominated by the stands of a stadium and the buildings are completely in the background.
