It's simply false to say, as the History section here does, that Frederici Honores occupied the same space as Lacerta. Indeed, a close look at that last image will show that Lacerta is labelled as co-existing with Gloria Frederici/Frederici Honores. Perhaps the original Frederici Honores was more extensive, but there is no evidence provided for this. Adam Cuerden ^(talk) 16:05, 28 February 2014 (UTC)

Proposed addition of annotated NOIRLab constellation image

Hello, I have a disclosed conflict of interest because I am connected with NOIRLab. I would like to suggest a small image addition for the Lacerta article, and I am requesting review from uninvolved editors rather than making the change directly. I propose adding the annotated NOIRLab image of Lacerta near the beginning of the “Features” section, above the existing naked-eye image. The current image should remain in place, as it provides a useful view of how Lacerta appears in the night sky. The proposed additional image would complement it by showing the IAU constellation boundaries, the stick figure, and labeled bright stars. Based on the current article layout, there appears to be enough room for this addition. The article has a substantial lead and several content sections, and the existing naked-eye image is placed in the “Features” section while the infobox occupies the upper right. Adding the annotated image near the start of “Features” would provide an explanatory visual aid without removing or reducing the value of the existing image. The file is available on Wikimedia Commons and is marked as licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International, so it appears suitable for use on English Wikipedia with attribution. I am happy for editors to adjust the caption wording if needed. The external caption link can also be replaced with a <ref> citation if that is preferred.
