Discussion about Patents

On April 11 2006, LSI Logic was granted a patent (US patent 7,028,023 drawing) for an "invention": A multiple linked list. Such linked lists are one of the basic data structures for software design and are in use in many programs since the invention of the first computers. LSI Logic acts like a patent troll by patenting such a common data structure.
