Deaths from LSD

[edit]

The article states that there have been no overdose deaths from LSD, but according to this source from Australia: there have been some overdose deaths, though most are caused by other factors. 68.45.66.32 (talk) 18:23, 8 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

I've done some work on the overdose section: LSD § Overdose. – AlyInWikiWonderland (talk, contribs) 04:48, 10 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Reorganisation of History section

[edit]

I have just done a big reordering of the History section (), as I noticed there were basically two timelines, containing a lot of similar information. It is now in (mostly) chronological order, and duplicated information has been removed.

It probably still requires some copy editing, but hopefully the section flows better now. GearsDatapack (talk) 10:55, 22 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

@GearsDatapack Oh no, I just came to this article from the Copy Editors guild list and addressed the cohesion copyedit tag without checking the Talk Page first (which I usually try to do, lesson learned there) and may have taken this in a different direction than you envisioned! I actually checked the recent edit history, and saw the great improvements you and others made, but did not realize you had been aiming to put it into one long, consistent timeline!
From my perspective as a reader, there were indeed many little threads in there, and I thought that collecting them thematically and then providing related headers would help someone jump to relevant information depending on why they're browsing this page (the history of its synthesis and production, its use in psychiatry, its cultural impacts, etc etc).
If you feel this was a poor choice on my part please revert any of the changes I made, or the whole change! If I had checked properly and known there was context behind the maintenance tag, I would have tried to make changes in more piecemeal fashion for ease of individual reverts, instead of tackling the whole section in one go. To me it feels like I improved cohesion but I'm still pretty new, and don't have all of the MOS memorized (particularly when it comes to structural norms in an article of this size).
Thanks for your original cleanup, and again apologies if my attempt to help was not on point. Sophiatries (talk) 08:58, 27 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
No, the version now looks great! I knew it still needed some work after my initial restructuring, so thank you for doing that. I agree that it looks better in individual sections. It still mostly follows the order that I put it into, and I think it's in a good state now. {{GearsDatapack|talk|contribs}} 11:31, 27 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Remove LSD from category "Enantiopure drugs"

[edit]

There are separate articles for specific forms of LSD, and (most of) these forms are already in this category. As a general article for all these forms, "LSD" should NOT be in this category. It is as absurb as claiming "glucose is an enantiopure drug" Tewuzij (talk) 10:33, 2 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

change the skelata formula

[edit]

Hi ! https://swissparam.ch/ gave me another skeleta formula than those provided by wiki. However the 3D skeleta look like good : at the top of the ring that touch the tow hexagonal and pentagonal ring that touch theirself, H need to be removed and tow plate lines should be changed by tow lines upping and downing, cause the H is suggered by the tree line (carbon need to be satisfacted) and the two lines under this H have some 3D detail. Danke ~2026-10212-52 (talk) 03:58, 15 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Your description does not make sense to me. I looked at the line-drawn skeletal and the colorful 3D, and they both appear to have the same chemical meaning. The skeletal here includes just enough detail to know the facts. It does not have full geometric detail. And there are alternative ways to illustrate the facts. Could you use the numbers in the diagram to the right to clarify which locations you are talking about? Also, if you could post a specific link to the image you got from SwissParam, that could help us interpret your concern more easily. DMacks (talk) 04:47, 15 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
