Acronym to LGBTQ+, LGBTQIA+, or 2SLGBTQIA+

[edit]

I'm not sure if this talk has already occurred (the numerous redirects on this page are confusing me), but have we considered broadening the acronym we use here? I know there's a section that lists possible variations of the acronym, but is there a reason that we use LGBTQ instead of at least adding the + like "LGBTQ+," which is generally considered more inclusive? @ThatCommieKid: Hello. I believe the main discussion was at Talk:LGBTQ (term)/Archive 4#Requested move 14 August 2024. Mudwater (Talk) 00:41, 10 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
There have also been other discussions on various noticeboards, and I think the general consensus is that these expanded acronyms aren't necessary. Zenomonoz (talk) 01:36, 10 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
