Why is the subject of this entry still repeatedly being removed or changed from the original definition? Sounds like either spam or ignorance to me... so which is it? Kustoms as automotive art-forms and cultural icons have been around since the early 1950s. Moreover, the musical equipment manufacturer derives its name and style from that of Kustom culture. Please, do a little research before completely replacing an entire topic, even if it is only a stub at present: creating a disambiguation page would have been the correct and courteous course of action in this case. Kustom amplifiers is by far the better known use of the word. And I DID make it disambig. You people are being just as ignorant here.--Josquius 14:40, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

On the contrary, 'kustom' is generally known as an auto term (just ask the amp manufacturer- that's where they got it from!), so that should be the primary definition. Just because you personally have no knowledge of kustom or hotrod culture is pretty inconsequential: why should you change the entire subect of an entry just because you have no knowledge of it (being a student in NE England it's not really surprising is it?). As a guitar player myself I'm fully aware of the Kustom brand of amplifiers, but as most would agree, the original auto definition should be the principal one. Kustom building, its associated art and hotrodding forms a major part of US cultural history. If you're ignorant of it, than that's fine: don't presume everyone else is the same.Truetillbrew 14:56, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
