In your source, the part of your article that I can see is this: "The Brahmin and the Kurmi form the upper caste cluster" which is not quite the same as "Elite educated and landowning farming caste", so more or better sources are needed. I have removed three out of four of your edit requests, that were asking for the same thing. I understand though that it can be upsetting to see an erroneous description of a caste, so I searched for a source myself. This isn't a reliable source, written by the representatives of this caste itself. Also "upper caste cluster" is not the same as being upper-caste. The classification is source specific where "upper caste cluster" likely means non-Dalit groups. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 13:55, 31 May 2025 (UTC)

Hey, please remove the word non-elite from the defining paragraph of kurmis. It’s because this term should not be used for defining a community. Now a days kurmis are more progressed and there are many elite kurmis in the society. It is creating a bad perception of kurmis in other peopl’s mind so , please remove this word.
