Kroni is based off of a much older Hindu Demon

The Kroni demon of the Ayyavazhi religion is actually based off of the Kali (Demon) from the Kalki Purana. According to the Padma Purana, the avatars 3 & 4 (in the main article) were actually the reincarnations of Lord Vishnu's gate keepers Jaya and Vijaya. For blocking the path of Lord Brahma's spiritual sons, the gate keepers were damned to 12 "mortal" rebirths. But because of Lord Vishnu's great love of all things, he was able to get the sentence knocked down to three "evil" or "demonic" rebirths. First, the guards were reborn as the brothers Hiranyaksha (who was killed by Vishnu's 3rd avatar Varaha, the Boar) and Hiranyakashipu (who was killed by Vishnu's 4th avatar Narasimha, the Man-Lion. Second, they were reborn as the Demon-King Ravana and his giant brother Kumbhakarna. Both were killed by Lord Rama during the Ramayana. In their third and final rebirth, the guards were reincarnated as Shishupal and Dantavakra, the cousins of Vishnu's 8th avatar, Lord Krishna. Both were killed by Krishna during the Mahabharata. That it what the difference between Ayyavazhi and Hinduism. Many different legends as well as mythical conceptions. The above views on Asuras are from Kalki Purana, Padma purana etc. But in Ayyavazhi the views are different. - Paul 01:39, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Bruh..

How can he be more evil when Kali demon is considered to be evil itself or the source of it? I'm pretty confused isn't Kali demon responsible for doing every bad karma or I'm being deloused.. 950CMR (talk) 16:10, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
