Koch line about the refinery in Germany gets outright copied

These edits of a user seem to be PR once again: . NPR says "And the Hamburg Oil Refinery, built by the Winkler-Koch Co., became key, according to several German historians I talked to, to Hitler's war efforts. By the time they built it, it was already clear that Hitler had very major military ambitions, but one of the things he was unable to do was to refine high-octane oil for warplanes." In the new edits it sounds like Koch was some small assist partner in a project that had nothing foreseeable to do with a war. Environmental & safety record section

this whole section is densely worded and jammed with over-information its almost as if its intended to confuse and bore readers into ignoring the section's contents. I intend to significantly trim it down so that it reads well and you can actually ascertain the environmental and safety record of the company without obfuscation. Updated pronunciation

Captainllama, Please bear with me here: I changed the pronunciation of Koch from (koʊk) to (koʊtʃ). Use the (tʃ/ch) instead of (k/k or ch) for the pronunciation for Koch because of my teacher said during groups, (ch) makes the (tʃ) sound. - Sharon Fisher. This pronunciation for Koch (koʊk) is wrong & it means Coke. Thank you for your message. I hope your teacher told you that (ch) usually makes the (tʃ) sound. English is a highly irregular language and few (if any) pronunciation guides hold in all cases. Furthermore, this is a proper name, and as such even more susceptible to non-standard pronunciation. Perhaps you have heard of the surname "Cholmondeley" and the place name Trottiscliffe, pronounced "Chumley" and "Trozlee" respectively. In this case, "Koch" is nowhere near as outlandish, the pronunciation of "ch" as "k" is common, think "Christmas", "choir", "school", "stomach ache". The IPA pronunciation guide was correct before, the name is indeed pronounced "Coke"; I encourage you to refer to any number of YouTube videos about Koch, Inc. to hear how it is correctly pronounced. Your enthusiasm is welcome, but it would serve you well to similarly check your facts in the future before changing Wikipedia based on what one person has told you.
