Kobryn → KobrinKobrin – Most common use in English language. We usually stick to native names for relatively obscure plaes, but larger ones, with established usage in English must use English names. • Comment. It may be the common name, but looking at Ngrams, a lot of the results are not about the town (for example Kobrin is also a surname). Mellk (talk) 18:46, 16 March 2026 (UTC)

• Oppose for now. Both names are commonly used, but I have found no evidence that Kobrin is more common than Kobryn. This ngram shows that "town of Kobryn" is more common in recent years than "town of Kobrin". Google Maps uses Kobryn. On the other hand, Kobrin search results are boosted by frequent appearance of historian Rebecca Kobrin in recent years. FromCzech (talk) 13:36, 19 March 2026 (UTC)
