KnowledgeMan was not a database on its own
[edit]I don't think KnowledgeMan was a dbms on its own. In 1987 I worked for the consulting division of MDBS. They brought me into their headquarters for a week or so to do QA on KnowledgeMan from a developer's perspective. I remember programming with it, and I think it would connect with existing data stores. Perhaps other gray-haired folks out there who had used it for real work could clarify.
