Shas
[edit]The Shas party has withdrawn due to orthodox conscription laws, making the government a minority coalition 77.246.75.93 (talk) 15:17, 16 July 2025 (UTC)
- I am looking into this and here is what sources are saying:
- Times of Israel: The Shas party decides to exit the government and coalition following a meeting of its ruling Council of Torah Sages in Jerusalem, leaving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a government. The party will, however, remain a part of Netanyahu’s coalition for now and is not pushing for elections.
- Ynet: The ultra-Orthodox Shas party said Wednesday it will resign from the government in protest over stalled legislation to exempt yeshiva students from mandatory military service—a key demand of the Haredi community... Shas said it would remain in the governing coalition for now, stopping short of fully collapsing Netanyahu’s parliamentary bloc. The decision followed hours of pressure from the Prime Minister’s Office, which had asked Shas to allow time to find a solution acceptable to ultra-Orthodox parties.
- From these, it appears that Shas has only announced that they are leaving the coalition and haven't actually left the coalition yet. So we should wait before removing them from the government coalition for now, and remove them once their departure from the government coalition is finalized. - It seems they have indeed left the government, all Shas ministers resigned. Shas is now a confidence and supply or external support party, compare Sweden. Thorbecke2012 (talk) 07:41, 13 August 2025 (UTC)

- Shas left govenment, but not the Coalition iirc Totalstgamer (talk) 08:25, 26 July 2025 (UTC)
- In international terms, that means they are not in the government coalition but support it from the outside as support party, see for example Sweden or New Zealand.Thorbecke2012 (talk) 07:39, 13 August 2025 (UTC)

Update Likuds number of seats:
[edit]the New Hope party led by Gideon Sa'ar recently remerged backinto the Likud party after leaving it for a few years.
