Gazza

[edit]

I tried to add an interesting and factually accurate inclusion that the ex-England International footballer Paul Gazza Gasgoigne lived in this village. He is infinitely better known than any of the historical figures on the page, and yet it was removed. Under what circumstances could we include it? 81.79.241.0 (talk) 22:55, 21 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

We'd need a source that says he was there in 1996 *only*, preferably a reliable one. I did a quick Google search and couldn't find one that said exactly that; this would probably need further digging. It's a bit of an odd case because he didn't live in the area for very long, but I imagine he made it more well-known. Graham87 03:18, 22 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

We don't have an article about this person, but we do have an article about a different Alexander Kirkland. Graham87 (talk) 04:19, 8 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
