  Mini album and EP are synonymous… mini album is what they call EP in Korea (and probably other Asian markets). I’m on mobile right now so I can’t find the discussion where it was settled upon but widely standard practice is that releases called “mini albums” are categorized as an EPs on Wikipedia despite what they may be marketed as.
