Translation Phra Tamnak Hill

Dear Paul012, I noticed that you made changes to the Phra Tamnak Hill article, particularly the Phra Tamnak Hill translation which is the real name. Your suggested translation is not entirely correct as Pra and Tamnak do not mean palace and hill. Please note. I am a native Thai speaker. Meow2021 (talk) 07:29, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
- My thinking is that 'palace' is the simplest translation of พระตำหนัก, and 'palace hill' for เขาพระตำหนัก. I think it's best to avoid introducing complicated translations in article openings, especially when simply providing context for place names. Detailed discussions of terminology would be more suited to, e.g., an article about the different types/terminology of palaces in Thailand. --Paul_012 (talk) 08:05, 2 May 2021 (UTC)
