Proposed clarification to three-pointer sentence (COI: family member)

Hi, I’m Kevin Grevey’s son and understand I have a conflict of interest, so I’m not editing the article directly. I’d like to propose a small, better-sourced and more neutral rewording of the sentence about the 1979–80 three-pointer, based on the New York Times feature already cited in ref [3] and other secondary sources. Current text:

“Grevey was among the six players who made a three-point field goal on opening night of the 1979–80 NBA season, the first year the rule was in effect. For more than a decade, he believed he had made the league’s first such basket. A later NBA news release credited Boston’s Chris Ford with the first three-pointer on the basis that the Celtics’ game tipped off earlier that evening, although the exact timing of each opening-night three-pointer has never been fully determined. Contemporary reporting, as well as the NBA’s own historical retrospective, notes that play-by-play records from those games are incomplete or unavailable, and that several players—including Grevey—have maintained that the matter is not definitively settled.”
