Co-ordinates

Chain Bridge or Kemeys Bridge?
[edit]To the north is Kemeys Bridge, also known locally as Chain Bridge. It's not just known as this locally, it's named this on the Ordnance Survey 1:50000 map and 1:25000 maps. It's also called Chain Bridge by the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology.
Therefore I suggest deleting "locally".
Should the principal name be Chain Bridge or Kemeys Bridge? Does anyone call it Kemeys Bridge?
The 1:25000 map names the farm at the west end of the bridge as Pont-Kemeys, but this may just reflect the name of the pre-1829 bridge.

- As far as I know, it's known to all as Chain Bridge and no-one ever calls it "Kemeys Bridge" e.g. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:17, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
I've changed the page accordingly. Do you know the date of the present bridge? I've looked for a plaque on Google Streetview without success. Architecturally I'd guess 1920s. Verbcatcher (talk) 23:05, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

- That section looks much better now. Well done. In fact, because of road signage locally, I'd say Chain Bridge was much more recognised as a place than Kemeys Commander. Martinevans123 (talk) 08:07, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
