The Köln Concert

[edit]

Is there a good reason The Köln Concert should not be mentioned in the lede?--Ymblanter (talk) 21:27, 31 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

I'd suggest not. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:21, 31 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Vocalizations

[edit]

In the "Idiosyncrasies" section, regarding his vocalizing, is it really necessary to list nine other musicians known for vocalizing during instrumental performances? Two would be plenty to give the idea that Jarrett is not unique in this respect. If someone wants to discuss all nine, a separate Wikipedia article on the phenomenon seems like the place to do it.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 148.87.23.6 (talk) 17:20, 22 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Live at the Blue Note

[edit]

Can someone add this into the Trio section. This is probably the definitive work of the trio. I’ll add it in down the road a bit if no one is up to it 219.68.51.60 (talk) 14:29, 5 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

More can be added to his race

[edit]

After reading this [https://scalar.usc.edu/works/castles-made-of-sand-racial-ambiguity-and-mid-twentieth-century-american-musicians-1/racial-ambiguity-in-the-age-of-the-popular-counterculture-keith-jarrett-1 ] I think more can be added about his race. As it shows both he and his record label played into his racial ambiguity and it did allow him access into certain spaces. Speaking personally it was only in recent times that I found out he was not African American. So it worked. Inayity (talk) 09:24, 2 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Looks promising. (He doesn't just play the white keys, you know, but all the black ones, too...) Martinevans123 (talk) 09:33, 2 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
