Request to remove COI and citation templates
[edit]Hi editors,
I’m disclosing that I have a conflict of interest (COI) as I am the subject of this article. I am posting here in line with Wikipedia’s COI and BLP guidelines, and I would like to request a review of the article and the removal of the following maintenance templates:
- "A major contributor to this article appears to have a close connection with its subject." - "This biography of a living person needs additional citations for verification." - The "Multiple issues" banner.
Since the templates were added, the article has been substantially revised. The current draft presents a neutral, encyclopedic tone, avoids promotional language, and includes references from reliable, independent secondary sources. Specific changes include:
- Removal of subjective or non-verifiable claims. - Addition of citations from reputable publications such as [BBC], [Pitchfork], [Mad Decent], and [The Guardian] (to be inserted as needed). - Clarified distinctions between public achievements and private performances, with appropriate sourcing where possible.
Thank you very much. B6d5aefbde (talk) 17:14, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
- Found a few issues earlier, albeit minor. Could wait to see if other editors give it a read before declaring COI resolved. Dl2000 (talk) 02:12, 19 June 2025 (UTC)
- Removed close connection tag addressing concerns so that article now meets NPOV and sourcing standards. 1GyuTmura (talk) 18:59, 24 June 2025 (UTC)

tag. The content has been thoroughly revised to align with Wikipedia’s neutrality and sourcing guidelines. Specifically:
- All promotional language has been removed or reworded for a neutral tone.
- All claims are now supported by reliable, independent third-party sources, including coverage from The Guardian, BBC, XLR8R, Resident Advisor, Vice, and The Hollywood Reporter.
- Inline citations have been added throughout, and references are properly formatted.
- No content relies on original research or non-verifiable sources.
