Would it not make more sense too adress her as "Kayla" or "Lilsimsie" just do avoid confusion in an already sims centered article? I understand that it is proper too use a last name but I just thought it'd be more clear if she wasn't being addressed as "sims". Are we sure that the page should be up? I mean, aside from the Sims content and being one of many streamers and content creators for the popular EA game, it doesn't really meet rules for general notability or the specific guidelines for web creators. It’s cool to have a great deal of followers on YouTube and Twitch, but the number of followers isn’t supposed to be what earns you a standalone biography on an encyclopedia. If you look closely, almost all the references are from niche gaming news sites like Dexerto or Polygon, and most of it is just routine coverage of stream updates or game packs. Their notable achievements, including constructing houses for Electronic Arts, would appear to be more a matter of inherited fame from a giant corporate franchise than individual cultural influence. Even the charity milestones and web award nominations do seem to be a result of recentism, and lack deep mainstream coverage outside of the streaming community. There doesn't seem to be enough independent non-gaming source material here for a full biography. This level of detailed coverage feels much more at home on a specialized fan wiki, like the Sims Wiki on Fandom, or merged into a small mention on the main article for The Sims 4. ~2026-37206-84 (talk) 22:16, 28 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hiya! I will say that notability guidelines do not discriminate against sources that might be niche (for more on this, you may wish to check out Wikipedia:Reliable sources) and there is no requirement for significant coverage to exist outside of the area for which the person is notable (in this case, streaming/gaming/creating content about The Sims).
In my reading of it, the subject has received significant coverage in multiple reliable sources that are independent of the subject, such that the article meets General Notability Guidelines (GNG). To avoid making a full AfD case for inclusion here, I'll simply cite three sources from the article, each of which is solely about Sims (including her work as a content creator/gamer), that together represent significant, reliable, and independent coverage meeting GNG: article, News article, and Spy article.

Hello Samsmachado! Thank you so much for your response, for clarifying all of the rules, and for sharing your opinion. I really do appreciate it! I've also seen that you did some edits to the page, so thanks for that too! Though I really do enjoy Kayla's content and am a subscriber, I think it is still important to differentiate between one's personal opinion and encyclopedic standards to try and keep biographies as neutral as possible, hence my questioning. I'll be sure to check out all the relevant pages and the notability policy, and then I'll better decide whether or not to proceed with nominating the page for deletion or whether it would be better to just focus on the tone.
