Who played the First Lady?

[edit]

The IMDb lists this London born Kay Hammond (I) and a Kansas City born Kay Hammond (II) (* 1901). According to the IMDb, Number II was Mary Todd Lincoln in D.W. Griffith's Abraham Lincoln. According to Katz' Film Encyclopedia, the part was played by Number I. So, what is right? Khero 14:30, 31 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

The 1930 Abraham Lincoln Pressbook states of the actress who plays Mary Todd "was born in Springfield, Mo. Her mother was a Southerner, and her father a staunch Unionist...". Thus, not likely to be the London-born actress of this article. --Animalparty! (talk) 05:22, 10 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
