All other EPs of theirs have articles, so why doesn’t this one have one?

Hello. I am Central Place, a radio fanatic, chart watcher and pop music critic. I am wondering why an article for Katseye’s new EP “WILD” (due out on 14 August 2026) was not approved as you deleted it.

Please let me know. (I know they’re declining in popularity and Wikipedia is in a bit of a lazier state, but normally it passes through)

I also get the article was under construction but people could have helped—and I had no evidence cited and it took too long to add stuff.

The article is not yet created as there's not enough relevance nor sources, as it hasnt been released yet.

As for a draft, it is currently being made in Draft:Wild (Katseye EP).

In the second sentence of the page ("The group is composed of six members: Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Manon Bannerman, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza, and Yoonchae Jeung."), all of the members have links to their profiles except for Yoonchae Jeung.

Daniela's hiatus missing

Promotional content in Endorsements section

The section in Katseye#Endorsements appears to contain promotional content and claims that are not written from a neutral point of view. This includes:

• Promotional phrases such as "perfect match for Katseye's own brand", "unprecedented reach and impact", "widespread critical acclaim", and "inclusive and empowering message" which I believe are also MOS:PUFFERY violations.
• Excessive marketing detail such as the number and colours of Glossier products, the "exclusive neon blue vinyl edition", the six collectible soaps, and detailed descriptions of individual campaigns. Per WP:NOTADVERT, "Information about companies and products must be written in an objective and unbiased style, free of puffery". Some of this information could be condensed down and presented in a more neutral tone.
• Inclusion of the statistics "400 million views and 8 billion impressions" seems to be a WP:NOTSTATS violation as this does not enhance readability. Further giving this emphasis through the sentence "Gap CEO Richard Dickson described the campaign as a "cultural takeover", highlighting its unprecedented reach and impact on the brand's own image, with the ad garnering more views in its first three days than the brand's previous four releases combined" is clearly promotional content and not necessary.
• "The campaign received widespread critical acclaim for its emphasis on unity and cultural celebration, in contrast to an American Eagle jeans campaign featuring actress Sydney Sweeney released earlier in the year. While Sweeney's ad faced criticism for allegedly promoting eugenics, Katseye's ad was lauded for its inclusive and empowering message" - this is clearly a WP:NPOV and MOS:PUFFERY violation. It introduces another advertising controversy primarily to contrast it with Katseye's more positive reception. Regardless if this is supported by the source, it is not necessary to include.

Virtually the entire Endorsements section consists of successful partnerships and favourable commentary. There is not clear indication of why each individual detail is encyclopaedically significant. Currently it reads more like a chronology of promotional achievements, with undue weight given to present Katseye in a favorable light. The overall tone and selection of information included could benefit from being refined and be presented from a more neutral point of view. –Zirthes (talk) 15:36, 25 August 2026 (UTC)

@Zirthes I've just trimmed this section quite heavily. There were several sources about the ad campaigns that did not mention Katseye at all and I've removed them. Leaving the promotional tag there for now, but take a look and see what you think. MidnightMayhem (talk) 19:26, 9 September 2026 (UTC)
