Officially, Cyprus is *tri*-lingual. Not bilingual (English being the third language). Since 1974, each community keeps pretty much to itself though so while there are multiple languages on paper, practically this doesn't matter since the Greek-Cypriots speak almost exclusively Greek and the Turkish-Cypriots speak almost exclusively Turkish.
