– Kapu appears to be an important concept in Hawaiian culture, but it is not the primary topic for the term. Leaving aside the half a dozen minor topics with the name, there's Kapu (caste): a social group of India that hardly has less long-term significance and which gets almost four times the views .

The only question is about the new title of the Hawaiian article: Kapu (concept)? Kapu (taboo)? Kapu (Hawaiian culture)? Maybe that decision would be easier if the article did a better job of making it clear what exactly it's about. – Uanfala (talk) 23:25, 4 July 2022 (UTC)

There are eight entries listed upon the Kapu (disambiguation) page, with no indication that the Hawaiian term holds such an elevated historical position that it overwhelms the combined verifiable notability of the remaining seven entries. As far as arriving at the most intuitive parenthetical qualifier is concerned, I would support Kapu (ancient Hawaiian code of conduct), Kapu (Hawaiian code of conduct), as indicated in the article's lead sentence, as well as the proposed Kapu (Hawaiian culture), the proposed one-word qualifiers Kapu (concept), Kapu (taboo) or any other disambiguation that has a possibility of achieving consensus. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 00:51, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
