Explanation of population drop
[edit]The most remarkable thing about Kandersteg is that its population dropped from 3554 to 727 in just 10 years. I read the whole article carefully looking for an explanation, but found none. - I don't think there really was a drop. The numbers are provided as per the citation. I guess the number for 1910 is simply wrong, or maybe the population was counted in a different way. Before 1910 there are no counts available for Kandersteg, but for surrounding places the counts for 1910 are also a lot higher than for 1900 or 1920. Pahles (talk) 13:41, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

Infobox edits
[edit]I tried to add a title to reference [2] to remove the error message, but edits inside the infobox do not appear. Perhaps there is an issue with the code? Lukebayy (talk) 21:53, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
Also, the Kandersteg area, at 134.5 square kilometres (51.9 square miles) seems way off. In this case also, it is not possible to edit inside the Infobox. Lukebayy (talk) 22:56, 19 September 2025 (UTC)
