In response to the maintenance notice suggesting more encyclopedia-style links, I added in as many as I thought relevant. Hoping that solved the issue. I have not removed the maintenance template yet, though, figuring I'd let other more experienced editors comment, if they wish! Thanks for the quick review, David, and I have spent some time looking through (again) the notability guidelines as well as the GNG. I'm admittedly a newbie when it comes to this, and the extensive thought that went into creating the guidelines is very interesting and thought provoking, but I readily welcome your help and guidance. Realizing now that notability is not merely a popularity contest (i.e. sheer number of references) I took a hard look at the quality of the references and am in the process of pulling out references that are weak, and adding more independent references. In general, is there a rule of thumb for a musician regarding selection of the type and quantity of references? Tmcnellis15 (talk) 02:44, 20 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
