Clarify the location

[edit]
  • What I think should be changed: Correct what is described in this page as the officially stated location of KAILASA. This request is not about telling where KAILASA is or proving it etc. It is about removing content which alleged KAILASA representatives ever formally alleged it is in Ecuador. This Ecuador was a media manufactured narrative and for their misinformation KAILASA and people of KAILASA are getting defamed.
  • Why it should be changed:

It is falsely portrayed in this wikipedia page as if KAILASA or any representatives of KAILASA showed the location of KAILASA as if an island in Ecuador. This is false and never in any forum, formally, or informally, in verbal or written. Any such statement was made. Neither the SPH nor any KAILASA representatives have ever told anybody that KAILASA was a South American island or that the SPH owns any island. This clarification was published on the official website of KAILASA in an official press response to a question by Business Insider (Singapore) on 17 March 2023. To quote the official website of KAILASA, in an official press response to a question by Business Insider (Singapore): “Q: Nithyananda also says he owns an island off the coast of Ecuador. Can Kailasa prove this claim? A: SPH has never claimed he owns an island.” (refer: https://kailaasa.org/briefings-statements/response-to-matthew-loh-breaking-news-reporter-of-insider-inc-business-insider-singapore/, published 17 March 2023. This press release predates most of the articles published giving this misinformation despite this media continues to spread this misinformation. The only location formally and consistently mentioned location is (since 2019 to 2025) is 'near Australia'.

Done I reworded the sentence in question to avoid implying that representatives of Kailaasa have identified any physical location for Kailaasa, since this isn't supported by the source, as you noticed. TimSmit (talk) 22:38, 18 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
