Morris confusion

Page 200 has Kafr Manda falling to the 7th Armoured Brigade during Operation Dekel in July. On page 226 it has the village in a list of locations taken during Hiram. [edit]...by the ignornance of some Israeli archelolgist. - I suspect she took it from Hebrew wikipedia(!). I recall when I started here, lots of Arab places were "established in the 18/19 century, or even 1920s ..by bedouins from Jordan (or somewhere): they had been directly translated from he.wp. Some of those places had a millennia of documented history...Huldra (talk) 23:48, 22 July 2026 (UTC)
