Kabru complex picture

[edit]

Although the submitter at wikimedia commons has written that this is a picture of the Kabru complex from Goecha La, maps suggest that there is no way that you can see anything of Kabru from that pass at 27°36′28″N 88°11′13″E / 27.60778°N 88.18694°E / 27.60778; 88.18694. Kabru is to the west, while you only have a view N-NE and SSW-SSE from the pass. The picture most likely is of the ridge going from NW to SE from the Kanchenjunga east ridge. I'm removing the picture for that reason. It could be featured at the Goecha La page instead. Afasmit (talk) 22:07, 22 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Kabru complex picture does show Kabru (see my annotations), but not from Goecha La. The point of view is further south (above Samiti lake). --Kuhni74 (talk) 16:20, 7 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
