The sign-on date of November 1979 for what was then KBUZ FM is not correct. I was the first program director of the station and I helped build it during the 1979-1980 Fall, Winter and Spring seasons. I had a falling-out with Gary and Ann Violet and resigned in May of 1980. The station was still under construction and was very much not on the air when I left. I do not know the actual sign-on date, but I'd guess November 1980 may be right, and someone just got the year wrong. Pulliamgj (talk) 21:08, 22 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
