KXLA also makes an appearance in the film, "Ice Castles". A DJ is heard on a car radio calling out the station tag. He mentions that the station is located in Iowa. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.231.227.127 (talk) 14:35, 16 March 2008 (UTC)

Joe Dirt's long-lost parents who called in the KXLA radio show either lived in Simi Valley west of L.A. or Yucca Valley in the Mojave desert, which indicates the fictional KXLA had to be in L.A. in the scene Joe Dirt was interviewed on the radio station KXLA. 2605:E000:FDCA:4200:1FA:3A88:955:CACC (talk) 00:16, 12 December 2015 (UTC)

When the edit war is over, it should be noted that KXLA is also a main setting for the Bewitched spin-off, Tabitha.

Discussion about March 2016 Edit war

After an automated message about my uploaded station ID was orphaned, I have discovered that we are in the middle of an edit war between a user claiming KXLA is a Iran/Farsi affiliated station while another user claims its still independent.
