KV2 is not tomb "B" in Pococke's "Observations of Egypt"

[edit]

The article states "Early European visitors to the area included Richard Pococke, who visited KV2 and designated it "Tomb B" in his Observations of Egypt, published in 1743". However, I'm reading that travel report right now, and the included plan of tombs shows rather clearly that even the not very accurate Pococke could have depicted KV2 in his sketch of tomb "B". It's most probably tomb "A". Please check for yourself, the book is available at archive.org and the plan is found after page 98. Is this a typo by the editor or is it a mistake in the reference cited? Gray62 (talk) 06:04, 9 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
