"Notable former on-air staff "

The article has a list of notable former on-air staff at the bottom. As a list, it should be reasonably complete, unless we're going to rename the section "Notable former on-air staff not mentioned in this article". "Redundancies" isn't a valid rationale for removal when it's a summary list as described, unless the contention is that Pat McCormick, Leslie Griffith, Dennis Richmond are not notable. @Anastrophe This is a discussion better suited for Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Television/Television stations task force, since this is not the only page affected. There are large-market stations where writing the list of staff this way is a massive clutter reducer (see WTVJ). Sammi Brie (she/her · t · c) 07:22, 21 February 2025 (UTC)

If there are hard rules or guidelines for editing promulgated by the task force you mention, that should be called out when an editor opens the editing dialogue, I would think.

The list by my perception (and as titled) is a convenience added near the bottom of the article to aggregate all former on-air staff who are and are not mentioned within the body of the article. All in the list are a priori notable as they all have their own WP articles. It simply doesn't seem 'symmetrical' the way it's presented. Perhaps the list could/should be titled "Other notable former on-air staff", emphasis mine.
