Coordinate error

[edit]

{{geodata-check}}

The following coordinate fixes are needed for KTLF broadcast. The location of it's broadcast is my parent's backyard outside of Dolores, Colorado but it is based out of Colorado Springs, over a hundred miles away.

 Not done. The usual practice in Wikipedia with regard to radio stations is to give the coordinates of their principal transmission sites rather than the sites of their studios or corporate offices. (I've moved the coordinates into the infobox, where they're labeled "Transmitter coordinates", to make this clear.) The coordinates currrently in this article correspond to the location of the transmitter as given by the FCC, which is a site about 5 miles SSW of Colorado Springs. With regard to your parents' backyard, perhaps that is the KTCF transmitter listed in the second row of the table in the "Network" section of the article?
If you still think that the coordinates are erroneous, please post again, explaining in detail what you think they should be and including the {{geodata-check}} template at the top of your post. Someone will be along to address your concerns. Deor (talk) 11:26, 23 March 2014 (UTC)Reply
