Error in KLZ Station Timeline

The KLZ station timeline states that KLZ-FM went to rock and roll programming in 1956. First off, there probably weren't many AM rock stations in the U.S. in 1956. When I first heard FM radio in the Denver area in 1963 or so, KLZ-FM was not rock - it was simulcast with KLZ-AM most of the time. In 1964 or 1965, KLZ-FM started running rock programming part of the time (6-10PM weeknights at first, then 6-8AM and 4-10PM on weekdays). If I recall correctly they claimed to be the first FM station in the U.S. with rock and roll programming. They went to full-time rock and roll programming some time after that (perhaps late 1965, but more likely in 1966).

Unforunately, I cannot cite any references to the correct timeline - I am working from my own memories as a dedicated KLZ-FM listener in the late 60s and early 70s.
