Error on market served

[edit]

The page says that KLTI is licensed to the city of Macon, Missouri - which is correct - but that it serves the Springfield, Mo. market. This is not correct. Springfield Mo is well over 250 miles from Macon Mo., well beynd the range of this low-power AM station. SO, I've attempted to correct the error.Sector001 (talk) 17:54, 25 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

UPDATE: Ok, I think I figured out the problem after viewing the FCC link. Apparently there is a construction permit (notated with a CP on the FCC site) for ANOTHER KLTI, operation at 660 AM vs. 1560 AM, to indeed serve the Springfield Mo area. I can see how the original creator could have become confused (believe me, after dealing with FCC regs for the last 20+ years, I know how they delight in confusing people ;-) ). I still question the ownership information too, as the KLTI 1560 AM is owned by Best Broadcasting Group. If I can provide verification later, I'll change that as well.
